Choosing A White Wardrobe
In choosing a white wardrobe you have to ask yourself what its purpose is going to be. Is it going to be an all functioning dresser for everything you use? Or is it going to be just for certain clothes being hung up? Will you have a closet along with it or probably install some closet organizers? Will you have a dresser with a full set of doors along with it? These questions are crucial before you proceed to determine what type of wardrobe you’re going to need.
If this is going to hold all of your clothes, which certainly a wardrobe is capable of doing, you’ll need not only the rod to hang clothes, on but drawers underneath to hold socks and undergarments and possibly even pajamas or maybe even pants folded neatly.
The width of the wardrobe will be determined by how many clothes you have and how many clothes you plan on obtaining. If you do not have a lot of needs for clothing, and your wardrobe is fairly sparse, you could actually go with a single wardrobe with only one door that opens. Those are fairly narrow but they could still meet your needs.
Usually if your wardrobe is going to have drawers, they will be on the bottom. There will be two to four underneath each door. They are fairly shallow drawers. These are not the kind of drawers that you can fold bulky sweaters into, but because of the wardrobe above, you can hang the sweaters on the rod quite neatly.
Why would you choose white for a wardrobe? Quite simply white will go with any other piece of white bedroom furniture. It won’t stand out unless you have a black bedroom where everything is black. If it will fit in nicely. It will make your room look smaller. It is a fairly large piece of furniture and you don’t want looking obtrusive in your bedroom. White is the ideal color for your wardrobe.
